I really, really need to work on ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} garfieldology. It was one of my most awesome ideas ever and that is saying something. I've also decided to make it on GreatestJournal and InsaneJournal. Who am I to deny the lasagna love?And for the record, I have this same name on both services. It began long ago . . . A force, possibly as old as the Earth itself infected the area. It had no name. It needed no name but some referred to it as The Hunger. It needed magic. It fed off of the energy from cast spells, creatures and magical devices. The Hunger needed that to survive. When it infested Hogsmeade one-thousand years ago, at first nothing was amiss. However, the energy that it received from the little village of Hogsmeade and the construction of Hogwarts was just not enough. No one noticed anything at first but then tiny cracks in time started to form. The Hunger would do anything to satiate its need. That included bringing in more magic users from the past and future. It even brought people back from the dead. There was a price to be paid. It created too many cracks in time. It made everything in the immediate area unstable. It had to be stopped. It was fortunate for Hogsmeade that the four best witches and wizards were nearby. Working together, they were able to trap the Hunger deep underneath the foundations of Hogwarts. Believing it to be trapped, they never spoke of it again fearing someone would try to use that source to power their own dark ambitions. They took another precaution. If the Hunger returned, it could not be allowed to affect the rest of the wizarding world. A barrier was created. It would become active when the first rip in time happened. No one would be able to get in and no one would be able to get out. The Hunger was not trapped forever. As time went on, all of the charms and spells that the Founders had created, started to crumble. Eventually, it broke free. There was already a readily available source above. There were more students in Hogwarts than before. More people lived in Hogsmeade than did when The Hunger was first trapped. Still, it had been trapped for so long that it needed more. The Hunger started pulling more and more people in from every point in history. People from the past and future were pulled in. Even those that were dead somehow managed to find themselves brought back to life. They just couldn’t get out. No one could. |

Now you're basically saying that Harry and Ron can't have sex in the Prefect's bathroom or Hermione and Draco can't make sweet, sweet love on Professor Snape's desk? (I DON'T SHIP THAT!) That's my gist of it. ( Cut because some people are just stupid ) |

| I’m going to be taking a hiatus from role-playing and the internet in general. I’m need to take a few steps back and focus on what’s important. I’ll be gone until I at least find another job. Even when I do find a job, I’m going to try to stay away until at least August, possibly longer. | ||||
